Description

Whispers in the Darkness is a significant original contemporary painting by award-winning artist Simon Kenny. The composition is defined by soft, glowing forms that appear to emerge from a dense void, elegantly intersected by crisp, abstract lines that suggest energy pathways or modern data transmissions.

This 113 x 70 cm work invites the viewer to consider the fundamental relationship between matter and space. It investigates how structure emerges from chaos and how subtle, “whispered” forces can carry profound intellectual meaning. Through a mastery of layered oil and mixed media, Kenny achieves a balance between minimalist restraint and high-concept depth.

Curatorial Appeal and Interior Integration Ideally suited for modern interiors that value quiet intensity, Whispers in the Darkness is a premier choice for collectors drawn to works that engage with physics, energy and the unseen dimensions of reality. Its sophisticated vertical format and muted palette make it an excellent acquisition for corporate art portfolios, private libraries or minimalist residential spaces.

As Simon Kenny’s work is increasingly picked up by galleries specialising in conceptual abstraction, this piece offers a refined transactional opportunity for those seeking to diversify their collection with a work that provides both meditative calm and intellectual intrigue.
