Unbound
Unbound is a 120 x 120 cm original expressionist abstract oil painting by Simon Kenny. A powerful and atmospheric study of light and liberation in a modern square format, available for private purchase, gallery placement, and international delivery.
Description
Unbound is a definitive original contemporary painting by the award-winning artist Simon Kenny. Spanning a commanding 120 x 120 cm, this work represents a visceral enquiry into the “Lyrical Sublime,” capturing the exact moment where energy breaks free from its origins to occupy a state of pure, “Unfettered Abstraction.”
In this composition, the viewer is met with a sense of immense “Kinetic Liberation.” True to Kenny’s signature style, the painting utilizes layered oils and sophisticated blending to create a radiant centre that appears to push against the boundaries of the square frame. The symmetry of the 120 cm canvas provides a modern, architectural anchor for the volatile energy within, creating a balance between structure and chaos. It invites an individual and deeply personal experience—a visual journey into what it means to be truly free.
Gallery Perspective and Architectural Integration The large-scale square format of Unbound makes it an ideal centerpiece for contemporary residential interiors or corporate foyers that require a sense of expansive energy. Its ability to “open up” a space without relying on literal representational forms makes it a premier choice for collectors drawn to the intersection of philosophy and fine art.
As Simon Kenny’s work is frequently picked up by leading galleries such as Clarendon Fine Art and Whitewall Galleries, pieces of this scale and tonal intensity represent a robust transactional opportunity. This painting offers a significant investment in contemporary expressionism, providing a lasting visual anchor for any world-class collection seeking a work of “Symmetric Expansion.”
