Description

These Things is a significant original mixed media painting by award-winning artist Simon Kenny. This work serves as a sophisticated reflection on how we seek clarity and meaning through structure, examining the human instinct to find security within the intersection of defined boundaries.

Each colour field is intentionally confined by its own edges—a visual metaphor for how we define objects, thoughts and ourselves within understood parameters. The 100 x 100 cm square format provides a balanced, meditative canvas where the interplay of colour and shape becomes an enquiry into perception itself.

Curatorial and Commercial Opportunities With its focus on clean lines and conceptual depth, These Things is an ideal acquisition for collectors of contemporary geometric abstraction. Its structured aesthetic makes it a versatile choice for modern residential interiors or minimalist corporate environments, where it can act as a sophisticated focal point.

Simon Kenny’s works are increasingly picked up by international galleries and interior design firms for their ability to harmonise with architectural space. This piece represents a high-level opportunity for gallery placement or inclusion in curated portfolios that value bold expression and refined design.
