The New Dawn
The New Dawn is a 120 x 120 cm original expressionist abstract oil painting by Simon Kenny. A powerful and atmospheric exploration of renewal and light in a modern square format, available for private acquisition, gallery placement, and international delivery.
Description
The New Dawn is a definitive original contemporary painting by the award-winning artist Simon Kenny. Spanning a commanding 120 x 120 cm, this square-format work is a visceral meditation on the concept of rebirth—the exact moment where the shadows of the past dissolve into the luminous promise of the future.
True to Kenny’s signature “Lyrical Expressionism,” the composition features a masterfully handled interplay of light. Soft, atmospheric veils of colour give way to a central, radiant core, suggesting a world waking to new possibilities. The 120 cm square format provides a unique architectural weight, allowing the volatile, gestural energy of the oil paint to feel anchored and intentional. It invites an individual and deeply personal experience, acting as a visual reset for the viewer—a window into a realm of “Atmospheric Optimism.”
Gallery Perspective and Transactional Opportunity The impressive scale and life-affirming narrative of The New Dawn make it an ideal centrepiece for high-end residential interiors, corporate headquarters, or as a “hero piece” within a curated gallery wall. Its balanced palette and contemporary style ensure it is frequently picked up by boutique art consultants looking to introduce a sense of sophisticated energy into exclusive architectural projects.
As Simon Kenny’s presence in the international art market continues to grow, particularly within prestigious houses like Clarendon Fine Art, pieces of this scale and thematic clarity represent a robust transactional opportunity. This work is not merely a painting; it is an enduring art asset with a proven aesthetic pedigree that resonates with the current global interest in “Spiritually-Infused Abstraction.”
