Description
The Core is a significant 120 x 120 cm original contemporary oil painting by award-winning artist Simon Kenny. This work evokes a pivotal moment of transformation, where destruction and creation exist as a singular, powerful force. Outbursts of fiery gold, searing white, deep crimson and celestial blue fracture across the canvas, suggesting the literal tearing and remaking of space itself.
The surrounding atmosphere shifts between ethereal light and profound shadow, silence and intensity, drawing the viewer into the gravitational pull of cosmic rebirth. It is an enquiry into the mystery of universal cycles—the paradox of endings that are simultaneously beginnings.
Gallery Representation and Professional Placement Given its commanding scale and vibrant palette, The Core is an ideal centrepiece for contemporary spaces that require a visual anchor of significant emotional weight. Its exploration of the “Sublime” makes it an attractive acquisition for collectors who bridge the gap between science and emotion.
Simon Kenny’s work is increasingly sought after by international galleries and private art advisors for its ability to command architectural space while maintaining a deeply personal, tactile quality. As his work is picked up by major collections across the UK and overseas, pieces of this intensity and scale represent a robust transactional opportunity for those focusing on high-level art assets.
