The Age of Forever

Description

The Age of Forever is a definitive original contemporary painting by the award-winning artist Simon Kenny. Spanning a commanding 120 x 120 cm, this work represents a masterful enquiry into the “Lyrical Sublime,” specifically exploring the concept of Eternal Abstraction. It is a visual meditation on the light that persists through time a study of Celestial Permanence where the boundaries of the canvas seem to dissolve into an infinite horizon.

In this composition, the viewer is invited into a world of Infinite Depth. True to Kenny’s signature style, the painting utilizes complex layers of professional-grade oils and delicate glazes to create a sense of light that is both ancient and ever-present. The square 120 cm format provides a modern, architectural anchor for the swirling, gestural energy of the paint, creating a perfect balance between movement and stillness. It invites an individual and personal experience—acting as a window into a realm where time has no dominion.

Gallery Perspective and Architectural Integration Given its significant square dimensions, The Age of Forever is a premier choice for high-impact architectural focal points. It is perfectly suited for placement in a grand foyer, a high-end master suite, or as the primary anchor in a minimalist architectural project. Its ability to provide a sense of vast, quiet power makes it a favoured selection for art advisors and interior designers looking to introduce both character and a sense of timelessness into a sophisticated space.

As Simon Kenny’s work continues to be picked up by prestigious international galleries, including his regular presence at Clarendon Fine Art, pieces of this scale and thematic gravity represent a robust transactional opportunity. This painting offers a significant investment in contemporary expressionism, providing a lasting visual asset for any world-class collection seeking a work of technical brilliance and philosophical depth.
