Description
Crossing Through Time is a significant original expressionist oil painting by the award-winning artist Simon Kenny. This commanding work serves as a visual enquiry into the fluidity of existence, capturing a sense of transition across temporal planes. Through a masterful application of light and atmospheric depth, Kenny invites the viewer to step into a realm where the past, present, and future appear to converge.
Characterised by his signature “Radical Turneresque” style, the composition features sweeping motions that suggest the relentless flow of time itself. The layering of oils creates a tactile history on the canvas, with each brushstroke acting as a record of a moment captured. True to Kenny’s contemporary philosophy, the work is intensely personal, encouraging an individual emotional journey for every observer who stands before its expansive horizon.
Gallery Perspective and Portfolio Diversification With its profound narrative weight and impressive scale, Crossing Through Time is a premier acquisition for collectors focusing on works with strong conceptual foundations. It is the type of piece frequently picked up by boutique galleries and international art consultants to serve as a conversational centerpiece in high-end residential or heritage-inspired modern interiors.
As Simon Kenny’s presence grows within major UK houses such as Clarendon Fine Art, works of this thematic intensity represent a secure transactional opportunity. This painting offers more than a visual experience; it is a legacy art asset that resonates with the current global interest in “Time-Based Abstraction” and atmospheric storytelling.
