Description

Battle of the Ages is a significant 120 x 120 cm original contemporary painting by award-winning artist Simon Kenny. The work’s sweeping motions and vivid palette speak to an ancient, eternal struggle—a battle not bound by place or era, but played out across the vast unknown of the celestial theatre.

Through the masterly application of molten textures and glowing highlights, Kenny conjures visions of stellar birth and destruction. The canvas acts as a witness to the very mechanics of the universe in upheaval, balancing primal intensity with a transcendent sense of wonder. It is a quintessential example of his ability to translate complex scientific and spiritual themes into a visceral, tactile experience.

Gallery Context and Transactional Opportunity The substantial 120 cm square format makes Battle of the Ages a commanding centrepiece for collectors of bold, statement-led abstract art. Its universal themes and sophisticated colour palette ensure it is a frequent point of interest for interior designers and architects looking to integrate emotive, high-impact works into modern residential or corporate environments.

As Simon Kenny’s work is increasingly picked up by leading UK and international galleries, pieces of this scale and thematic depth offer a secure opportunity for asset diversification. This work represents a professional art asset with a proven history of gallery-level provenance and collector demand.
